Empowering youth through education, mentorship & athletics

Team New England Youth Academy provides academic, mentorship, athletic, and service-learning programs to positively impact the development of youth in marginalized communities in New England.

TNE is dedicated to breaking down barriers for underserved youth by providing access to education, mentorship, and athletic opportunities.

What began as a small community initiative has now grown into a comprehensive program:

We are changing the narrative.

Underserved youth in marginalized communities face significant barriers to success, including limited access to quality education, mentorship, and systemic inequities. These challenges often keep young people trapped in cycles of poverty, hindering their academic growth and social development.

We believe every young person deserves the opportunity to break through these barriers. By providing essential resources—education, mentorship, and athletic training—we aim to change the trajectory of their lives and break the cycle of poverty and inequality.

We are bigger than basketball.

Using basketball as our vehicle, we create programs that provide pathways to transformative academic and athletic opportunities.

Our impact goes far beyond the game. We’re not just developing athletes—we’re building leaders, scholars, and community changemakers.

Team New England is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering underserved youth through transformative programs that blend academics, athletics, and leadership development.

Based in Boston, MA, we serve youth aged 10-18 both domestically and internationally, providing essential resources and support to ensure they have access to quality education, mentorship, and opportunities to thrive in school and in life.

Today, we serve over 1,000 young people annually through a holistic blend of education, basketball, and enrichment programs.
