summer enrichment program
In 2020, TEAM New England became the first competitive, athletic organization to provide inner city youth with a free Summer Enrichment Program. Partnering with local organizations, the Summer Enrichment Program effectively promotes and supports the physical growth, social-emotional development, and academic performance of the whole student athlete.
The program is run by TNE staff, including: Boston Public School teachers and counselors, varsity basketball coaches and players, and former alumni that now play college and professional basketball.

the mission
The mission of the Summer Enrichment Program is to actively engage 12-15 year old inner city youth from the Dorchester, Roxbury, and Mattapan areas during the July and August summer months.
