  • BPS Collegiate Showcase | Team New England Youth Academy

    Play in front of the top prep school coaches in New England. Secure your spot and register today. BPS COLLEGIATE SHOWCASE The Boston Public School Collegiate Showcase provides a platform for prospective student-athletes to gain exposure and access to local and regional college basketball coaches and programs. Athletes have the opportunity to compete against other athletes and showcase their skills in front of different college coaches from the NJCAA, NCAA Division II and Division III levels, at the same time. Focused on the 2024 senior class and 2025 junior class, the event integrates competition with instructional training and recruitment education. This includes sessions focused on skill level, athletic performance, and competitive play, followed by a coaches panel discussion and Q and A segment. Additionally, a college admissions fair featuring representatives from various schools is held throughout the event. The event serves as a valuable avenue for those serious about playing basketball at the college level, offering personal insights into what coaches seek in recruits. Evaluation and Instruction Players are evaluated by college coaches through instructive group stations, simulated combine testing and scrimmages. Scrimmages Players are divided into teams and coached by various top coaches from New England. College Fair Admissions representatives from different schools are present to answer questions and meet prospective students and families. Coaches Panel The coaches' panel is open to all players and their families, covering topics related to the college experience, the NCAA recruiting process, academic eligibility rules, and other relevant subjects. Our mission is to empower young athletes by providing them with opportunities to showcase their skills, gain insights into the prep school experience, and build valuable relationships with coaches and admissions representatives. This event offers exposure, resources, and connections to help youth further their education and achieve their athletic goals. Activities include an admissions fair, a coaches panel, and a basketball skills showcase featuring real-time feedback and evaluations. Our goal is to create pathways for student-athletes to gain visibility, build relationships, and secure placements in prep schools that will enhance their academic and athletic careers. This event not only highlights athletic talent but also educates families about the academic and personal growth opportunities that prep schools provide. 5th Annual Prep School Showcase Evaluation and Instruction Athletes receive personalized coaching and feedback from prep school coaches to help improve their skills and understand what’s needed to succeed at the next level.
